Pros and cons of Tempo ™ app for iPhone and iPad

Tempo ™ app good for

Just wanted to say thank you. Game looks great. But having no in app purchases is what made me pull the trigger. Hope others support you and buy this game, so it becomes profitable to make more games that are about fun, and not microtransaction freemium scams. Thanks again and best of luck!
This is a solid quick action game. The visuals are excellent. I do find it strange that they have a dual fail system. You fail if you run out of time and you fail if you lose at two of the challenges. The thing is, the second one seems unnecessary. If you lose a challenge, you wont likely have enough time to complete the mission. So I dont see the point.
Game is a big cutscene, but good graphics, and no in app purchases
This game is worth your money there is no running around its just skill on how fast and how well can you do the levels. I love the online play-with-your-friends idea. Long story short its a great game.
This is one of the best game on the App Store. The cinematic is really cool

Some bad moments

Very bad localization, repetitive missions, expensive game. If I could, I would go back in time and break my iPad instead of buying this "game".
There are so few, good action games coming out in the App Store lately I decided to risk getting this immediately instead of waiting for some reviews or youtube videos of game play. After all, it looked sooo solid, like a real FPS or something like Frontline Commando 2, & described itself as "action," which is what I like. But I want to be in control of the action as that is what a real "shooter" is—you actually control the action to some degree. In Tempo, though, u just watch the action. This is really just a movie, not a shooter. Your only involvement is tapping the screen now & then, or tracing a line. If that sounds too pathetic to be true . . . download it & ull find out it really is true. Such great graphics, so much potential, ruined by such a pathetic control scheme. I gave it 2 stars instead of one only b/c the graphics & such are great. But Id rather have crappy graphics & great game play instead of great graphics & lame, boring game play that has nothing to do w/an actual shooter. I actually prefer free games w/IAPs over paid games w/no IAPs, & Tempo is a perfect example as to why: if this was free I would have known immediately it wasnt for me, but instead I wasted $5 bucks to find out its boring & stupid. And the free game w/IAPs model is also better for the developer as well as the consumer: when games are free they get way WAY more downloads/players, & plenty of them will ultimately spend some money on IAPs. I doubt Tempo will make nearly as much money as it could have if it was free w/IAPs b/c at $5 not nearly as many people will download it, especially once people realize its NOT a real shooter!!
Ive been searching for games like this one and this is by far the best of all of the games that I have played!
The short version is: Tempo is a game made entirely of awkward QTEs, set to the theme of a counter-terrorist unit in London. This game really doesnt convey itself very well at all via the store page. The entire game is quite literally a spattering of different quick-time events in random orderings, and nothing else in terms of actual gameplay. There exists some limited progression and a basic story, but its painfully clear almost all the games assets went into visuals. To that end, it looks great for a mobile game, but that is the only praise I can sing for Tempo. And even though the game is a one-time purchase arrangement, it seems to still use old pay-to-win mechanics, incorporating "boosters" bought with in-game money earned through mission completion , which at one point become necessary to simply not fail. Overall, I wouldnt recommend Tempo even if it were a 99¢ release, and certainly not as a $4.99 time waster. There is simply not enough here to warrant any manner of "fun".
This game is amazing! Great graphics, easy controls, and intense storyline. But.... It IS a very quick game. The makers of the game need to eventually add a new storyline or side missions. Overall, it is a great game!!!
Tempo is the best game ever I wish people would make more games like this
